With the bachelor's degree in exercise science, you’ll work toward a comprehensive understanding of the anatomical, physiological, biomechanical and neurological principles underlying human movement, exercise and performance. You will discover which areas interest you, immerse yourself in active learning and graduate career ready.
- Our exercise science major focuses on health, fitness, sports and wellness. Graduates pursue careers in rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, fitness and wellness. Many go on to advanced study in physical therapy, occupational therapy, athletic training and exercise physiology. We also offer priority access to a Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
- You will take courses in human nutrition, anatomy and physiology, motor learning and control, biomechanics and exercise physiology. Electives include chemistry, psychology and communications classes to help you on your career path.
- Learn through interactive labs, research projects and hands-on experiences. With our Bachelor of Science in exercise science, you will see how exercise influences health and performance across diverse populations.
